Can I place an order over the telephone?

Can I recycle the packaging?
The ice packs can be reused and if the outer packaging is cardboard it can be recycled. The Styrofoam packaging cannot be recycled.
Can I return my product?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns. We offer our customers refunds or a replacement delivery if our orders are not delivered to an acceptable quality.
How will my order be packed?
Depending on how large the order is it will either be it will either be packed in a cardboard box or a Styrofoam box with gel ice packs to keep the fish as fresh as possible when it arrives.
What should I do if any of the products are damaged when they arrive?
While we take utmost care to ensure that our products are packed securely, occasional damage during transit may occur due to factors beyond our control. If you receive a product in an unacceptable condition, please reach out to us. We’ll either arrange a free replacement on our next available delivery date or offer a refund. To be eligible for a refund, kindly email us a photo of the damaged items within 24 hours of receipt. If your item arrives damaged or falls short of our high standards, please contact at orders@goatsbridgetrout.ie within 48 hours of delivery for assistance
Are your fish products fresh or frozen?
All our fish products are fresh.
Can I freeze Goatsbridge Trout products?
Yes. All Goatsbridge Trout products are fresh and suitable for home freezing. When freezing, products should be stored in a freezer below -18ºC. For the best quality, store for a maximum 3 months in the freezer.
How do I eat fresh trout at it's very best?
For our fresh trout products, to keep the best possible flavour we recommend you eat them within 48 hours of delivery or if you wish to freeze them do so on the day you receive them. When you are ready to defrost your products, follow our defrosting instructions in the FAQs below and they will taste wonderfully fresh.
How is the quality of your fish products ensured?
All of our deliveries are packed securely with ice packs to ensure they arrive to your door at their highest quality within the temperature range of 0ºC to 4ºC.
How should I store your fish products?
Keep refrigerated at 0ºC to 4ºC. Freeze on day of purchase and use within one month. Defrost thoroughly before use. Use within 24 hours of thawing and do not exceed best before date. This product is fully prepared and ready for you to enjoy.
What are the health benefits to eating trout?
We are fortunate that our products, by their very nature, are naturally healthy. Trout is a rich source of Omega 3 Fatty Acids and an excellent source of protein. It is also low in saturated fats and packed with essential vitamins and minerals like B12, selenium and iron.
What is the shelf life of your fish products?
The shelf life of each product varies so please refer to the use by date on the packaging.
Where do you source your fish products from?
All our products are farmed in Goatsbridge Trout Farm in county Kilkenny. For us, having full control of our product lifecycle from farm to fork is crucial so we keep everything in house.

Can I collect my order?
Yes - we offer a collection option on our checkout page. Collection from Goatsbridge Farm is free. Click HERE to find us.
Can I track my fish delivery online?
Yes. If you have given us your email address we will send you notification when your order is due to leave Goatsbridge Trout Farm. It will include our carriers consignment Number and a link to their tracking page. Enter your consignment number into DPD's Tracking page for regular updates on your package’s progress.
Do you deliver overseas?
No, unfortunately, we can only ship within the Island of Ireland. Click HERE for our list of stockists.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Please allow 5 working days from the date of your order but we will always endeavour get it to you earlier if we can.

What will delivery cost?
